Re: Weird intuition thing happened today.

Osakhomen --

I lean toward a psychic connection. I know everybody says there's no proof.

Another explanation may be that the woman may have been on the periphery of your consciousness -- meaning you were not aware of your brain paying any attention to her. Maybe she did something with her purse that lead to your thoughts about the money etc.

I do think that ADD/HD heightens our emotional sensitivity to others.

i also often "hear" the current song being played on a radio station and tell the person i'm with -- then they turn on the radio, and bingo...whenever i'm wrong, i'll tell them to switch to the next station, and bingo...

That is amazing. I have never heard of anyone who is able to do that. Ok you win.(presents trophy) I wish I knew you. I would get a real kick out of seeing that. You know what? I have had repeated ear infections all my life too. Ok where is mulder and scully when you need them?

Hypoactive -- I believe you and whoa that is cool. Does it bother you that you can do this?

When I was young I had the same dream just before I got sick. That does not happen now, too bad.

I have had many instances of Deja vu and have had mild prescient thoughts but none were strong or consistent enough to count on.

I have that too. I can guess the time within a minute or two even when I haven't looked at a clock for a while. I don't rely on this so I only notice it kind of once in a while when I feel like testing it. Nobody else really knows about it - I mean I've mentioned it to people but nobody has really taken notice, so nobody tries to test me on it. The key with powers like that I think is that they work best when you really believe in them. If you can be shaken into second-guessing them or you never really put a lot of faith in them then they don't work as well. This is likely what makes your mental clock fail when your sister teases you. If she asked you what time it was because she genuinely wanted to know and believed you can tell her, then you would probably be able to tell her.

It's been said that everybody has the ability to set a mental alarm clock causing their body and brain to wake up at the time you appoint, but that most people don't "use" their mental alarm clocks, because they don't want to take the risk of trying it and having it not work, or just because they've never heard of such a thing and have never believed it was possible to program yourself to wake up at a certain time.

Osakhomen

My interpretation is that you had a moment of Hypersensory Perception where you picked up subtle behavioural clues leading you to think of various explanations for it causing your mind to go off on different tangents. This may have resulted in a subliminal personalization of a possible outcome.

On the other hand it could have been a post hoc ergo propter hoc (after this therefore becuase of this) confabulation. I'm not saying your lying but our memories are not 100% reliable and do play tricks on us.
