Conversational over-reaction

My lazee butt doesn't want to search 476 pages, and I am not even sure how to phrase the question, so bear with me please. I have been on generic adderall xr for at least 10 years. Works best for me. Lately I have been a rude and inconsiderate SOB. I don't listen well in a conversation, I assume negatives, and loose my temper when I perceive a slight. I can moderate my reactions, and actually do well if I maintain a slight level of alcohol on board before the interaction. Hard to find the right level, and the stuff makes me gain weight. So my request is for any meds or supplements that might 'take the edge off'

Any suggestions are welcome.

If you can control yourself, Xanax is a lifesaver. It is the only way I am able to control what I say.
