Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

Amazon!!!

Ordered an item a couple of weeks ago and they sent out the wrong one. So after contacting them and informing them. They sent out a new package..... the same wrong thing they sent me last time! Now I have 2 wrong items to return and I refuse to pay for return postage and packaging!!!

There's also another item I didn't receive altogether. So I told the seller I wanted a refund. Instead they're sending me out another package, even though I didn't tell them to do that!!!

Well after popping a few vains in the neck and giving Amazon a piece of my mind, they're refunding me on both items without me having to return either of them.

I'll set Ebony onto your giant grass spiders, if you don't mind finding them in your bath alive and well

Try convincing Ebony of that, as far as she's concerned apparently if it looks big and hairy it's a exciting spider

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

Waiting to take my Dex after lunch because...I want to eat and enjoy it.

That said, I am brain dead. To be fair, I got less than proper sleep last night.

On the other hand, I have been my bright and cheery self on the phone this morning, and I have been able to cut checks, do invoicing, and do some UNIX stuff.

But it’s like I am swimming through maple syrup with a leaded cottonball for a brain.

Only 40 minutes until lunch...I wonder if I will make it that long. Chipotle! Yay!

They did. A friend of mine organized a protest march for tomorrow night to reclaim the right of women to walk the streets safely. I'm definitely going. The only way to give expression to my feelings.

That's good. So many things I can't do, like a women's take back the night
march. The last one I did was 30 years ago. I'll be walking in spirit with you!

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

I woke up this evening in my clothes. I remember stopping home before going to an informal social function (obviously didn't go), but I don't remember anything else. When I woke up, I couldn't find my phone...I had left it in my car (very odd for me).

By the bed, there was an opened and half-consumed can of diet soda, as well as a deflated pouch of chips. I have no memory of them whatsoever.

Was I really that tired? I didn't think I was. It makes me wonder if I was in some danger driving home. Maybe when I got home I just relaxed enough to switch off...because I desperately needed to.

Hmm,
Ian
