I feel sad, I am not as issue confronting without medication

I relied on adderall and dextroamphetamine to deal with big issues such as paying the bills, taking extremely difficult tasks and jobs, and dealing with a-type personalities.

I felt I am not as assertive in life when I started tapering off the medication. I had two weeks of brain fogginess and the thought of my assertiveness disappearing or my job wasn't because of my natural "me" makes me sad.

I have spoken to my therapist about it. He couldn't give me much advice. So if anyone here had a similar experience, what did you start doing to curb it? Asides from the obvious (exercising) did you take any off the counter supplements to help?

Do you have a DD? Is that what you were using the medication for?

Why did you start tapering off? By doctor's suggestion?
