I am waiting to se a ADHD specialist at present time but i am sure i have ADHD I have been in and out of lots of jobs even worked at the same place three times. but for some reason, i start to feel trapped and get my self in a rut and can't go back. it doesn't matter what job it is or what money I earn I have even been in a time out room before as I worked in a call centre and it go too much. I ended up on the sick and thought it was just anxiety. in any job i have never been able to do job as i got distracted so easy example i got chatting to colleagues and forgot i had loads of work still to do then started to run around and panic its been very hard for me. can anyone relate to this Thank you for reading |

Re: feeling trapped in a job
I can definitely relate to this. I haven't been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, but I run into the same situations.
Since I am always bouncing around to different jobs, I wanted to start my own business because I felt that it would make things easier for myself. I tried starting a company. It has been tough so far, and I haven't been able to get enough work to completely abandon my other jobs, but I would like to get to that point. I also think it would help to get tested to see if I have ADD or ADHD. I don't have a great recommendation, but just wanted you to know that you're not alone! Re: feeling trapped in a job
Thank you for taking time to reply and register here your comment is appreciated. I am pleased its not just me.
I wish you luck with your self-employment I tried it before but even though i have great ideas i get too distracted. If you think you have adhd or add i would visit gp my advice is gp sometimes may say that you dont have adhd but if they write a good letter it will help I am now waiting for a psychiatrist for them to se if they can help its very bad now i think its because i know what it may be Good luck |
