Daughters weird complaint

Just a quick question. My daughter started strattera about 4 days ago. Is pain in the neck a side effect or coincedence? Thanks

well, i am neither young nor female, but ill put in my .02

i do know that one of the most common side effects is stomach pain, & i know i went thru about o week of that.
maybe someone with more time on this can give more

i am 15 but when i started strattera i didnt notice any pain in the neck

She could be having an allergic reaction. Is she short of breath or feel like her neck is tight? I had the same problem, I'd see her doctor.

I would agree with acnail. If the doctor finds no signs or symptoms of allergic reaction. Ask about switching dosage time, with our son we found that he woke up every morning stiff the problem was the med was affecting his ability to sleep. We've started giving it at bedtime and his complaints have ceased. Check with the doc first though, messing around with meds isn't something you should ever do alone.

My kid on strattera has never complained on a pain in the neck- but sometimes he's a pain in mine--- ha ha
