All I can think about tonight is Ebony and what she went through.

I ended up hurting myself because I caused her to suffer like that. If I hadn't been so desperate when she was going through hell herself, she may have had a better life.

You'll all hate me for it.

Maybe I don't know the whole story, but I haven't heard about anything you
did (or didn't do) that caused any harm to Ebony.

I don't see how you are responsible for what happened to her before you found
her and gave her a very good home.

What do you wish you'd been able to do differently?

I wish I hadn't been so desperate for something good in my life back then and that way Ebony may have had a better life right from the start.

I tried to deny myself sleep last night because I don't deserve it, ended up having to go to bed though cause Tigger kept telling me to come with her and kept asking me to carry her to bed.

Basically, by wishing for something better than what I had I made Ebony's first two years of her life miserable so she'd come to me and give me something positive. Back then, I had very little positive things to hold on for (basically ADDF was literally the only thing I had)

I know you were in a really bad place before you met Ebony, but that's not your
fault or your responsibility.

You wished for something better and got yourself into a better place, physically
and mentally.

And then you were able to reach out and help someone else as well ... Ebony.

You couldn't do that at the time she was being abused, you hadn't met her yet.

The timing was just right that you got yourself into a better place just when she
was rescued and placed for adoption and you had a chance to meet her.

I think it was wonderful how it turned out, and that you and Ebony rescued
each other. I'm really sorry that you couldn't have had more time together.

That pain and that loss is still very fresh for you right now, and you have to
as kind to yourself as you've been to pychobuddy over the loss of his mom.
