Re: Today I am grateful for... (Part II)

Getting a good night sleep last night was nice. Went to bed at 10:30 pm and got almost 7 hrs.

I havenít gone to bed that early in years. Not sure why I was ready at that time last night.

Re: Today I am grateful for... (Part II)

I'm pretty stable in life right now.

My thyroid levels are coming down, I've been able to cut way back on the amount of insulin for my diabetes I usually take, I've lost some weight, I'm doing pretty well at taking all my pills consistently each day...and my mood for the most part has been pretty dang stable.

Sometimes it kinda sorta feels good to be able to be a bit of a reasonably responsible adult lol.

I fell behind with keeping my apartment clean...and I think I may be in some danger with my landlord here soon...but I have made so pretty big progress on picking it back up over the last few days.

I'm also having some serious money issues. And now I've gotta figure out a way to come up with some money for car insurance next month... /sigh.
I'd like to try to work again...but dang I feel stuck and stubborn and unwilling. I can't quite figure out why I'm so reluctant to start working or even volunteering part time. I think deep down inside I gave up a long while back.

But yeah. I'm doing pretty good really.

(((Hugs)))

Re: Today I am grateful for... (Part II)

I am grateful for many things but much more obsessed with the things that are wrong with me or my life. I can recognize the good but only focus or obsess on the negative.

I wish, I could focus on the good things in my life but they get far less attention than anything that is wrong or could possibly go wrong. Itís no way to go through life. Iíve wasted so much time, life and mental health worrying about the wrong. Something has to change, Iím sick of it!

Re: Today I am grateful for... (Part II)

I'm grateful that I can afford a drive-thru car wash now that I can't do a self-
service car wash anymore. I tried once after the massage therapy helped my
back pain, but I still couldn't stand and walk around that long.
