Yeah well the military is all about routine. Emergencies are few and far between.

Needless to say this can be pretty ugly for me these days. Wasn't so bad until I started getting promotions. I am good at my job... It's just that I prefer to fix things instead of going over very tedious schedules.

Anthropology is really my thing though. Ah well, maybe when I retire. Only six years away now. If I don't die of boredom.

Intelligent? Just interested in odd things. Looked for my beliefs in things I could test.

Besides, in this society my kind of intelligence is worth jack and you know what else. Jack's out of town.

Still, I have a plan. Society will not bend to suit my unique characteristics, and I will be stone cold dead before I bend anymore than I have... So, the heck with bending. I'll just find my own little niche and make my way and be as ADD as I want to and have it be a blessing for a change. More accurately a blessing all the time...

How am I planning to do this? Well I only have a general idea there. It amounts to exploring my interests more and trying my wings a little more as it were. From there I check different fields, even if they do not sound terribly promising at first. When I find the best match possible I make all the preps and Voila! E-boy is fat dumb and happy! :-)

Sorry, I am just coming to terms with the fact that all the hateful crap I grew up with, was just that. So, I waffle from optimistic to thinking less than well of myself. Old habits die hard.

Hi

I don't like coffee however I do like Anthropology. So far I've only

studied physical but the class was so stimulating that I had a 98

percentage when I left there.

I'm no good with routines either but it's usually my home ones like

getting ready for work or making sure my kids are bathed and in

bed on time everynight. When the pressure is on at work the

routine is great because, if it's a good day in my head, I can

ingage auto-pilot. But as soon as my first break hits I get a wave

of anxiety knowing I'll be home soon and the it will be up to me

to shedule and organize myself. I should say this was before the

Adderall. I look forward to my free time now.

What type of Anthropology interests you?

I'm glad your having good results from this site, I think I am. I

guess I'm still trying to get used to communicating on a computer.

Welcome E-boy... it's a great place here. I'm glad you've joined. I most likely had ADD since I was a kid but was not treated. For the longest time I have just felt like I was completely messed up in the head. I've just been diagnosed this month. I'm on meds now & so far it's been going okay, thankfully. I'm just wanting to learn more about how to take care of myself.

We all need successes, great to hear about yours! Bout time wouldn't you say?

I also love coffee, but I won't drink it black. My favorite is Kalua Vanilla- MMMM....... =)~

Anyway, take care- feel free to post anytime you would like.. would love to hear from you, see how you're doing!

Janet
