I'm also really annoyed about the eye infection. It's the last thing I needed right now. Last time it took more than a month to clear and I had to see the eye specialist in the hospital. I could have called them directly this time round rather than go through the long process of getting a referral from my GP but ive got no idea where I've put their number.
Sorry to hear about the infection, wonder if it's just one bug or germ causing
the whole cascade of effects? My daughter keeps getting what seems like the
same virus over and over. So frustrating. She hoped the nasal surgery would
help but it hasn't really.

Yeah, since I'm officially a 'senior citizen' and since I'm the only parent left for
my daughter, she worries about what will happen if I'm incapacitated or I die.
She's an only child, and I'm sure her cousin who lives fairly near would help
as much as she can, but she has a business to run. Are you an only child?

Well, my grandkids don't call me that because ... they want to keep living.

I'm Gramma, not Granny. Thank you very much.

Re: Come on In If You're Online And Say Anything: Part III

I've got three varieties of herbal infusion/tea of Loyd from Poland.

1. black currant with elderberry flower
2. sweet plum and fig with ginger and cinnamon
3. anise, fennel, caraway, liquorice, and peppermint

Cheers,
Ian

Maybe this isn't something for you but it light be worth considering.

Also remember to up your water intake if your having more caffeine. That might help with the unpleasant buzz as well.

Hubby and fuzzling are fine. Well, fuzzling has a cold as always and is waking up every 2h at night. I'm exhausted. I've also got an eye infection again and a cold..and my voice is gone....

Oops sorry....rant over...
Yes, the smells, tastes, and even the brewing of. I'll keep the tea in mind for a fall-back, thx. Maybe green tea, there was a period when I drank alot of it and kinda liked it.

Good point. Didn't even consider the need to up the water intake. I'll bet I just replaced water/club-soda w/ the coffee. THX.

Good to hear. Not ranting IMO. Just an open/honest response to how things are. -LN

Understood, and to be fair, a M3 GTS would only be a daily driver for the...afflicted (and well-heeled).

Re: Come on In If You're Online And Say Anything: Part III

We were at the vet's this afternoon for a follow up visit for our Papillon. Friday
a big dog tried to eat his head!

The vet had taken Kiko to the back to shave around a bite mark he missed on
Friday and while he was out another vet stepped into the exam room to get a
scale with a basket ... he asked us if we wanted to help weigh a snake?

My daughter was very quick to say "NO" while I was asking, "What kind?" and
"Can I really?"

Yes, Kiko is the Papillon dog. I may not have mentioned his name before.

Just found out our town has had grocery delivery service since the first of this
month but they didn't advertise it. Friday I was on day 6 of Migraine Week and
was out of pull-ups (a side effect of the spinal stenosis). The quick trip to
Walgreens wasn't too horrible but it was grab-and-go, no looking for anything
else. It's not cheap, $35 minimum order and $12 added charge, but when I have
a migraine it could really be worth it.

And BIG to the grocery delivery! I wish my town had it ...I'd be willing to pay the $12 to be able to order my monthly major trip online.
