Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

Not when it comes to writing important stuff like papers or letters but here? I have and English degree but if you didnt know me and so my lack of apostrophe's and spelling errors it could make you wonder whats wrong with me. I guess I get so gung-ho about typing a response or post that I cant be bothered. Isnt that terrible?

Re: Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

No, I am not, because it would drive me crazy to be lazy about it.

Cheers,
Ian

Re: Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

I am lazier when I'm typing on my phone (which is most of the time now). Periods ar essential, but I've never been particularly precise about comma placement.

I frickin hate autocorrect.

Re: Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

I am not lazy with punctuation.

I literally miss parts of words, grammar and punctuation, due to having ADHD and I try to proof read, correct vocabulary, grammar and punctuation mistakes over and over again during the time allotted.

I really appreciate ADDForums because is the only place I get to practice these skills.

Re: Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

Yes very. I always post from my phone so a lot of my typing is quite dodgy anyway. However, when I'm writing emails or letters I'm back pretty meticulous about this stuff. To be honest though I never understood the rules regarding comma.

I probably overuse exclamations marks. Somehow I always feel as if one exclamation mark isn't enough. It just doesn't look right.

Re: Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

Only not when I'm writing something real.

Ugh. I'm getting so lazy about it and it is only pushing a button. I don't care though.

Re: Anyone else lazy with punctuation?

sarah, are you still using an i-phone to log in here? I've noticed I'm lazy with
punctuation when sending text messages. When using a real keyboard I'm
pretty good at punctuation and grammar and all of that stuff.
