Googling ADD

Does anyone else find it annoying that ADD is a very common word in the english language? I mean, add and substract. It makes googling so difficult! At least ADHD is google-able

Re: Googling ADD

I like The ASK search engine...

You can post a query such as

How do attention deficit disorder, chronic fatique and fibromyalgia correlate and just look at what pops up....

Re: Googling ADD

ADD is an outdated term anyway.

Those formally said to have "ADD" would now be labeled as having ADHD, predominantly inattentive.

So just search ADHD. Trust me, I have.

Re: Googling ADD

Sometimes I want to search for occurrences of the term- for instance, checking on social networking sites for groups that might have "ADD" in the title that also may have not tagged themselves with "ADHD" or "attention deficit". ADD is still used quite a bit outside the medical world...

Spelling it out obviously works... but there are cases where you want to check for just that one acronym. Just sayin'.
