What type of women do you tend to end up with?

I thought I would post this here in the non "private" forum in hopes of getting a wider response.

After reading posts about how men with ADD tend to end up with "Crazy Women" very often I thought I would post and see if the present company shared that particular experience.

What type of women do you tend to end up dating. By dating I mean actually having semi long term interest in beyond "Friends With Benefits".

I know I tend to find myself attracted to more strong willed independent women myself and after my ex wife, as soon as they show any tendency towards verbal or mental abuse I am done.

Recently, my most successful relationships have all been with women of the inflatable type. Although they do make excellent "partners", it seems like we never have much to talk about.

Okay, okay now for real. I tend to be the more strong-willed/supportive member in my relationships, which means I end up with a more needy/dependent type of woman. That might sound bad, but I have a somewhat old-fashioned view of relationships and I believe that the man should be the supporter and provider for the woman. I guess I kinda expect my partners to be dependent on me.

What with the social awkwardness/anxiety/depression, I've never asked a woman out.

Thus, women I've ended up with have all been confident, outgoing, and assertive enough to take the initiative, but not so pushy that I find them off-putting. (and, of course, weird/delusional enough to be inclined to do so) This works pretty well, actually, as I often don't just 'pick up on things' that are needed in a relationship, and continue to need to be told.

I would not do well with a partner who was wringing her hands wondering why I didn't care enough about her to realize that X bothers her, or I should be doing Y, when she had not communicated her feelings on X or Y to me.

I think women that are most attracted to me are like the pac-man type character from the book "the missing piece".

They all seem to be lacking something, and it's like they need me to be a crutch for their insecurities. I'm not attracted to that at all, and hence: am single most of the time.

Me either. Of course, in my younger days, I would find someway to even blame myself in those situations. I think I know a little better now.

I am usually attracted to and end up with the very independent and self-confident types. My personality is such that somebody too meek might kinda get bowled over.

OMG I HATE that crap. I had to tell my wife SO many times that "I don't GET the signals you send when you think I should 'just know' that you want/don't want something, or that you need me to say or do something, and you CAN'T read in to that fact anything more than...I just suck at thinking of or noticing that stuff".

My current GF is just fine with stopping me and TELLING me "Dude, you are doing ** and it is getting to me, please stop" or "Hey, when you say ***** it COULD be taken wrong, I know you don't mean it, but just 'audit' a bit okay?". The fact that she understands this stuff and makes the effort to recognize that I am different just makes me love her more.

I don't have the easiest time interpreting non-verbal social stuff. That's one thing I got flack for at my old job.

I think some women may judge a man's love for her by how well he knows what she needs without her expressing it. I think even NT guys have a hard time with this. For me, I need to be told exactly what they need in order to meet their expectations. I'm not going to spend precious time sifting through what "I think" they want from me. Therefore, I can't be with a woman, who just expects me to "know" what she needs.

the only girl i was ever remotely involved with was an ugly ***** whose name i think i put mental blocks around. i hated her. she was a psycho***** who decided to pick me. i just shrugged her off, kept her away, told her to shut up or not to talk to me. everybody else who knows her agrees and hates her. i think i picked up my jailbird cousin's tendency to attract psychos, at least his ex's were all hot though...

I tend to end up with women I end up leaving. I'm sure I've dated all types of women. At first I thought I was lust driven but I think I can safely say it wasn't lust. Something is always lacking in my relationships and til' this this day I can't put my finger on what it is.
