Swaer to everything

Does anyone have any sort of resolution to that itch that cannot be scratched? The desire to stop doing the boring and engross yourself into the freedom of carefree adventure? To just walk away and follow your ambition? Its gotten worse and worse over the last 3 weeks. I've noticed while researching I'll have these engulfing racing thoughts about physically getting up and just walking away from everything. Find a cabin and go fishing for 2 weeks. Damn if I didn't have to stop myself from walking out of the study today! Is that a sign that Im on the wrong meds or something else? It feels like I'm a child or adolescent. Like I can and should do anything in order to feel the world.

DX: Diagnosed 9yrs w/ ADHD Pretty sure its the inattentive type with SCT. Bi-Polar (looks like type II) dyslexia, depression, and anxiety.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

I get that too. I don't think its related to my meds, though. I've been that way off and on since I can remember. I think when I'm stressed or something is bothering me it really hits me harder than other times.

It's hard to fight off that urge. I know exactly where you are coming from.

I used to call it my inner gypsy. I have horrible wander lust.If I had my druthers I'd be living out of a duffel bag no more than 6 months in one spot. Pdoc says the restlessness is the equivalency of hyperactivity for some adult ADHDs.
