Second week

Hello all,

I am in my second week of taking Converta 36mg, so far im not sure what to think. I usually take it at about 630am and get to work around 7am. I do have a few questions if anyone could help.

1. Should I "feel" it kick in? I have been able to so far.
2. Should I feel talkitive, or jittery? so far i have.
3. Is it normal to grind my teeth? again i have so far usually as i am working not
paying attention to what my mouth is doing.

Hiya, Michael....

Ok, here's what I experienced in Concerta. I am no longer on it, but I was on it for 2 years. First 18 mg, then 36, then 54, then back to 36.

1. Should I "feel" it kick in? I have been able to so far.

It took me a while before I could REALLY tell the difference when it would kick in. After a few months of being on it, about 30 minutes after I would take it, I could FEEL the fog lifting...and it was smooth sailing after that

2. Should I feel talkitive, or jittery? so far i have.

Hmmmm, that may have happened a little to me, but it was usually productive. And also, I was less inhibited, so I was able to feel more fluid and less self conscious, so I didn't mind.

3. Is it normal to grind my teeth? again i have so far usually as i am working not
paying attention to what my mouth is doing.

THIS happened to me when I was on the 54 mg, hence why I went back to 36. It was getting pretty bad and driving me up a wall! ack...but it went away when I went back down.

i am also on my second week of concerta 27mg and nothing so far, i feel more awake but that's is it. In fact today i wasnt so awake , i was tired and i slept while on concerta for a few hours , awoke and feel awake now. but so far no increased motivation and i am still forgetful but just a bit more awake than usual.
