Need some help here.
In Europe the medications often have a different trade name. Can anyone tell me the latin or chemical name for Wellbutrin?
Thanks. |

Buproprion HCL. Here's a link to some more info on it. You might also check out the prescribing info that's available online, too. Good stuff, I say.
Don't worry too much about where it says it decreases seizure threshold. My doc says that is basically not a factor unless you drink like a fish or have a seizure disorder already. |

Bupropion
The generic name is Bupropion. If this does not help you could try looking up these key words on Google:
"bupropion wellbutrin chemical name" I hope this is helpful! Ginger404 ![]() |

Sold here in Canada under the name "zyban" as a tool to help you quit smoking - works well for that too. It's easier to get samples of zyban than it is wellbutrin, at least here in Canada - so you often see doctors giving samples of zyban.
