I Love Meditation!!!

I just want to share my love of meditation with you all.

I heard that meditation helps with ADD, but I didn't buy it or believe it.

I tried it. I did it almost daily for 3 months. Yes, it took 3 months for me to "get it". I love it so much. Now, I see what all the buzz is about.

It has really helped with my ADD. And I only continue to get better!

Does anyone have any stories?

I just started meditating this week using John Kabat-Zinn's guided mindfulness meditations.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if meditating earlier in the day would make me more centered/relaxed before I tackle the workday or if I will still be getting the same benefits if I continue to meditate later in the afternoon/early evening?

I've noticed that when I meditate in the morning I have more difficulty staying focused/relaxing because my meds have recently kicked in. Later in the day this is less of an issue and I feel much more in-tune with the meditation.

If you are thinking I should meditate before taking meds, I usually take them an hour or so before I actually get up because it helps me get out of bed right away and avoid sleeping in.
