New to Ritalin

I was taking Adderal but the sexual side effects became to bothersome, so yesterday my dr. put me on Ritalin. The only thing I have noticed is that my foot isn't continuosly tapping but I am extremely tired. Is this normal? I feel like I could sleep for hours given the chance. If this is what Ritalin is going to do to me I would rather go back to Adderal it was wonderful for me.

i am going back to my dr tommorow to get switched from ritalin to either adderall or dexedrine. i found that the ritalin was making me way to tired and that overall the adderall was working better for me. Everyone reacts differently to meds but it sounds like your reacting to it like i did. ive even stopped taking it till i go back b/c the side effect and just how it made me feel outweighed the beneficial effects.

What's that with feeling tired on ritalin? Is that the same as stratterra in the early adjustment period because of all the norepenephrine?
