If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, you are wealthy enough to have an internet connection and power on, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.

Thanks Garry: WOW....very touching....and as I think about my parents coming next week for my graduation....

I am grateful that I pretty much have all of those things you mention above, but the best -- by far at least at this moment -- is that I have two parents still alive, still married.... which puts me in the "very rare" category.

Reminds me of stories my friend who was in the peace corps would tell me about Rwanda. Any day living in America is a pretty good one if you look at it from that viewpoint.

even if it does include those kids sixes ages 1-4 thats still a small percentage compared to the rest of the population say ages 5 - 80 who supposedly should know how to read but cant.
