adderall + alcohol....

I haven't had noticable problems from that. Strattera on the other hand sure as heck didn't mix with alcholol. Mind you typically when I have a beer or two the meds are out or nearly up, but I know I've had beer when still in effect. I'm speaking of Adderral XR. I don't think my doc advised against alcohol with Adderrall, she did for Strattera though.

I have problems with caffeine -- best to avoid that I've learned.

When I was on Adderall it made the effects of alcohol less to me. Like the Adderall had me more alert and conscience so I didn't feel as drunk or the drunk was somehow different. Also, it gave me a really horrible stomach ache on a couple of occassions and the squirts. Gross stuff, bad painful stomach ache too, like it was burning a hole in my belly. But it sometimes I was fine. I don't think it's a no-no like taking alcohol with pain killers or something like that, but it might have some crappy side effects.

I have also gotten a burning stomach ache after drinking some beers while on adderall. But like you said, it doesnt happen everytime and its not painful enough to make me stop drinking.

Yeah, it would have to be some haneious side effects for me to stop drinking. In fact I wouldn't take a medication regularly that was dangerous to take with alcohol. I like it too much

It's not dangerous to drink in moderation and take Adderall, as far as I know. One's a CNS simulant and the other a CNS depressant, so they tend to cancel each other out in some ways (Adderall WON'T make you sober, however, only time can do that).
You may have less desire to drink when taking Adderall - I think I tend to drink less when taking stimulants.

When i cant get to sleep at night I tend to have an ounce of liquor and sit down to a movie. I tried this one day when i had taken Adderall to late in the day to try and get to sleep and it didnt help one bit, i didnt even notice the effect of the liquor...
