Question Med increase questions (ADHD child)

Just upped my son's dose of Adderal XR to 10mg. He's 7 years old. Wondering if they need time to adjust or if these are things that should concern me.

Very focused
Straightened up 4 rooms in my house
Wiped dishes without "I won't do that"
Raked leaves in yard - very concerned about not being able to do them all in our big yard by himself.
Sat very still at dinner in a restaurant and colored quietly while waiting

Wasn't very hungry - all three meals
Didn't eat much
crying jag at about 2 pm - said he felt sad and left out.
Complained about a bad headache.

Any thoughts?

It does take some time to adjust to the dosage - you should see improvements, in time, in appetite and the headaches, which are likely related to increases in blood pressure that will generally wane as well. The effects might not go away completely, but they should get better, slowly.
You should mention them to your doctor, at any rate.
