McNEIL'S ADHD DRUG APPROVED FOR ADDITIONAL DOSAGE

McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for expanded product labeling to include a 72-mg dosing regimen for Concerta (methylphenidate HCl) extended-release tablets.

The product is indicated for use in adolescents with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
