My experiences on Wellbutrin SR

I've been on Wellbutrin SR for about three weeks now. For most of those three weeks, I was taking Adderall. I've completely stopped taking Adderall about a week ago. I take SR because there is a generic for it, which is only $10 co-pay with my insurance.

Benefits:
-No Procrastination!! This is awsome! I'm finding myself doing things I've been putting off for months/years!!
-More control over my emotions. Can be more objective about things. This is probably the anti-depressant benefit coming out.
-More control over my appetite. I am 50lbs overweight so this is a good thing. Not as good as the Adderall which would COMPLETELY take the appetite away, which I liked very much!

Side-Effects:
-Diahrea. Usually happens right after I eat.
-Dizziness and Sick feeling. This is the worst feeling. I feel a little hung over and I feel a little sick. There is some weird feeling in my head and the closest thing I can describe it as is dizziness. This is not all the time. I guess this comes on when its wearing off? At first I thought it was the Adderall wearing off, but today it has come back and I haven't had adderall for a few days!
The only thing I can do when this happens is lay around or go to sleep. If there is anything I can do to lessen this, please let me know!!!

Does anyone have similar experiences? I'd like to hear.

Those side effects like dizziness usually wear off after about three weeks or sooner. If they don't get better in another couple weeks you probably are on to high a dose or simply cannot tolerate the medicine. Normally the doctor will gradually increase your dose and it takes a week to adjust & the side effects to go away between each increase.

Why did you stop the adderall?

Well, to be honest, I thought the Adderall was causing the dizziness/sick feeling.

Before I was on just Adderall for about a month, before the Wellbutrin. After a few good days on Adderall, the benefits would stop, and I would just feel strung out and horrible for days even after I stop it. I just don't understand it. Also with the Adderall, if I stopped or forgot to take a dose, MEGA anxiety would set in.

If I could get rid of that strung out/dizzy/sick feeling, I would be a happy camper. I'm starting to wonder if these feelings are caused by an interaction with one of the many supplements I take. Right now, I'm suspecting the Chromium Picolinate. Yesterday I took it and had that horrible feeling. Now I'm starting to backtrack and trying to figure out on those days I felt like crap if those were the days I remembered to actually take the Chromium Picolinate.

Hey, I just got back from the Student Health Center. After waiting since my first appointment back in September! I just took my first dose of Wellbutrin and Adderall. Im curious as to what will happen. I really hopes this helps me get my life together. Aside from the side effects, do the meds really help reduce the symptoms of ADHD and mild depression?
Im so happy Im on my way to manage what has been hell in my life!

Hope

Here's an update. Today I stayed away from the Chromium.

I think I know what's going on. I'm getting mild to medium size migrane headaches from the wellbutrin. I hope this passes in a few days. I just took some alieve which is what I've taken in the past for migranes.

I'm taking 150mg of SR twice a day. For three weeks, I hardly noticed anything from the Wellbutrin.
