Exercise

We all know how important exercise is to living a healthy lifestyle. We hear about it many, many times a day, from the tv, to the internet. It can alleviate many problems caused by health issues, medications, stress, etc.

Here on AddForums, we need a resurgence devoted to exercise and working out. It should be an essential part of every one of our member's lifestyles. Having a section devoted to it can help motivate and encourage members to start living healthier, active lifestyles. Seasoned veterans can come together and introduce others to working out, showing them how, where, why and giving them the encouragement they need to get started.

Edit: I understand that we have an exercise and nutrition section, but it is rather small. We need to get the word out on exercise by expanding the section and getting the number of visitors up!

Re: Exercise

I find the best way to breathe life back into a section is to post interesting threads and respond to others posts in that same forum.

interesting or controversial?

Nothing brings in the crowds like a good fight.

Probably why the scientific discussions section sees a lot of action.

Re: Exercise

I need some motivating, soon. I enjoy exercise, just pretty boring by self. The feeling afterward is great though, and can really appreciate a good meal afterward. I'd go joging but live up 4 to 5 hills, steep buggers

Re: Exercise

TRANCE
FAST MUSIC

Found a lot more people leaning towards Metal, also fast - just more angry.

That always gets me going :P

Motivation for exercise
Is a little bit in your genes, ADHD vrs ADHD pI can be chalk and cheese for motivation on exercise.

I use distraction to do things that i otherwise wouldnt enjoy.
Listening to music, while at the gym i can be there for hours if i wasnt constantly thinking about what everyone else is thinking about haha

Set a goal (when medicated) and try to stick to it :P
