like to be alone and in a quiet environment
I work full time at a meat market. I am bombarded with noise and continuous stimuli for 9 hours plus. I live alone with my cat oliver in a town where I have no friends or relatives. My closest friend is my exboyfriend who lives 45 minutes away and we go hiking almost every weekend. I am 32 and have always been a bit of a shut in. Most of the time I am content with my quiet life but other times I wish I had a circle of friends to hang out with. I I don't drink, smoke or like clubs..perhaps I am destined to be that crazy cat lady...

I'm the same way. I typically love being alone but some nights I get so lonely that I wish I just had somebody to hang out with. I don't even have my cat with me but I'm sure if I did I would feel a lot better.

Get a Bengal cat... this was my solution; they're quite human like, and you can still be the crazy cat lady
