Ritalin Anxiety

Hi I just started using ritalin again after many years, the reason I stopped the first time was because of the high blood pressure and heart rate side effects and also the anxiety I felt while on ritalin.

Twelve years later and the urgent need to get my act together(my brother was murdered recently and the killer's family and friends are intimidating us I need to emigrate),I restarted taking ritalin and yes the same side effects occured,the good thing is ritalin is working for me.

Now I had some Xanax left over from last year and when I couldn't take the anxious/hypertensive feeling any longer I took half of 0,25 Xanax and sure enough I never felt so productive and relaxed in decades.

I am aware of dangers of Benzos,I know I have to stop in a month or two time,tolerance builds quite fast,
I need the clinic I was just recommend to by my doctor to give me a break and prescribe me both of them,they might not cooperate as they haven't diagnosed me yet,they didn't like the fact that the doctor prescribed me ritalin before the tests although I told them I did some test 12 years ago.

I don't want to lose any time,I lost many years already.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

what kind of tests do you mean? There are no tests to diagnose adhd.
