Chased by a polar bear?

Have you or anyone in your family ever been chased by a polar bear?

If so,

how much?

Re: Chased by a polar bear?

I voted yes, because I'm canadian.

Many's the time upon awakening and scooting on out of my igloo, I like to do a few back flips and tumbles in the snow. A few times I landed on a polar bear taking a nap.. whooa so not funny.

I had to run and hide so many time, I mean you can't go back into the igloo because they'll rip it apart to get to you.

One time one even killed me!

I sure hope I don't run into any more!

Sounds like it is worth the risk!

Unless of course you forget the medicine at home!

Re: Chased by a polar bear?

A long time ago I wrote a song I called "You Can't Rollerskate in a Polar Bear Herd." My friend Roger stole the song and changed it from polar bears to buffalo.

Re: Chased by a polar bear?

I chose "other" because I was chased by these polar bears. Twice. It was a very scary experience both times.

The first time I was totally unprepared and I ran and ran and ran and ran and ran. Which wasn't easy because I was wearing a heavy parka, snow boots, mittens, and a scarf, which weighed me down. They had the advantage because they weren't wearing much.I managed to get away--barely. Fortunately, I was no match for the polar bear club.

The second time, I was prepared though. I had been warned they were in the area. I diverted any potential danger by immediately learning all of the lyrics to their songs.

It's a big, bad scary world out there. Especially if you have to encounter polar bears.

Exactly! except those are the american breed of polar bear.(I think)

Canadian polar bears don't wear swimsuits.

Either do the randy breed in England.

Kind of embearassing ,

Shrinkage.

But it makes us stronger in the long run.

Re: Chased by a polar bear?

I forget why I started this thread.

I think it had something to do with MacTavish,

running around in circles,

in his front yard,

waving a metal pole,

in a lighting storm?
