I'm BAAAAAACK ^_^
Anyone miss me??? (feel free to not answer if you're gonna say no
 ) I don't have the brain to write out the entire last week (or however long I have been out... seems like an eternity), but I needed the break. I didn't even take my computer with me  It was weird.That said, NOLA was ahMAZEing. We stayed with some friends in their sadly dilapidated home- still waiting on insurance to fix the roof- but had a blast. Walked WAY too much and I have a two-toned tan now  Anyone remember when I got bit by a dog at work? (trying to break up a dog fight) .... well, silly me never goes to the doctor for small stuff- no point. So, I didn't go. The bites healed well, but ohdeargod was my thumb sore... and by sore I mean right up there with broken toes- pain-wise. Finally went to the doc (yay workman's comp!) and guess what?! I have a nasty infection in the joint of my thumb, I've had a fever for 3 weeks now, and there was no "it could be worse" other than emergency surgery. But on antibiotics and stuff now and I can MOVE IT!  Who knew that being able to wiggle a thumb would be something I was so proud of? I'll have pictures here soon of the trip- I don't feel like I took enough

booo - infection in thumb yaaaaa! - you had a great time in NOLA!!!! booo - friends have sad house waiting for insurance- yuck yaaaaa! - you can wiggle yr thumb- life's abt enjoying the small things booo - you didn't get to stay longer in NOLA
