I am bothered by anything that Pi**es me off. That ends up covering a lot of ground.

The same thing bothers me too, the more organised things are around me the better I feel, but I can't keep things organised for very long so I end up in a rage for the same reasons.

Re: Things that seem to really bother you?

If I'm hyperfocused on something, or even distracted by the internet at work (8 tabs open...oooh shiny!), if the phone rings or a customer walks in and interrupts what I'm doing I want to scream! I even got written up because my boss noticed that I sounded frustrated and exasperated whenever the phone would ring while I was working on a project. I can't multi-task!

Also, repetitive noises drive me up a wall. Whistling, car alarms, screaming kids, you name it. My boyfriend gets so mad at me when I complain about it too which makes it even worse, lol. A week ago we were on a hike, and these two guys were on the trail behind us one of them would NOT stop whistling some random song and I was ready to turn around and rip him a new one!

Re: Things that seem to really bother you?

People that talk really slow or cant get to a point fast enough. Screaming kids. Any sport besides Ice Hockey and even that has to be the NHL. People that have no sense of humor. People that say " like " every other word or people that talk like intellectually challenged valley girls.People that drive slow or stand in my way.I just notcied all the things that bother me have to do with other people. I think I'm just overwhelmed by other people so much. I often wish I could move to a quieter more open area with less people.

THIS!!! I don't think I'm ever as bothered at work as when there is a group of mothers with screaming children and they don't stop for hours. I can't handle it!

Also, I tend to get mildly frustrated and then anything and everything (even things that are not annoying) will bother me to the point that I want to snap.

Teenagers also really bother me. Specifically teenage girls who talk too loud and have no respect for anyone else around them. I've seen that middle aged women do this a lot too, when they're in groups.

I should probably not keep going. So many things bother me that I will never stop typing!

Re: Things that seem to really bother you?

There isn't enough time in the day to list all the things that bother me, so I'll name a few. I'll probably think of more later.

*People that are easily offended. For example, "How dare you say that, my sister-in-law's, brother's girlfriend's daughter has problems with fecal impaction, shame on you for joking about that!"

*Groups of teenagers, ANYWHERE. Giggling, running around, shrieking laughter, etc....

I hate it when people tell me that too. What do you mean you "don't know what to tell me"? If you have something bad to say to me, just say it.

It also bugs me when people start something saying "No offense but...". You know it's offensive, and it's not a get out of jail free card for what you're going to say. I'd respect you more if you just said what you had to say instead of trying to hide behind that.

On that note, people that get offended easy bug me. People that get "offended" to feel better about themselves bug me even more. Example: White people that get "offended" that I call a person black instead of African American (He could be Jamaican for all they know).

High strung, b!tchy, judgmental people in general bug me. Then again, I think anyone with adhd is a high strung person's bane. So I'm on the receiving end of their moods more often than not.

People are just trying to be polite.
Trust me it's a lot better than people who are just rude.

It's kind of like saying 'with all due respect.'

I don't let things like that bother me. I have enough trouble getting annoyed with people repeating the same words over and over again.

"I'm not blaming you." Yes I'm well aware of the last 50 times you said this.
"Nobody does anything around here." Nor do you but do you hear us complaining?
"Poor [insert name here]." I don't know if it's patronising or this is the only way to show empathy.
Some people just need to come up with new material. I keep forgetting my lines and throwing in some words as a filler.

I love this post:

1 - People that are loud in the library.
(Like, what part of "quiet study area" says "Lets have a party in the library!)

2. Coworkers

3. People
