dexadrine or adderall xr?

I was taking supplements to help with adhd. These are the same supplements that were found in Dr. Amens book. I think they have been working pretty good.. but I'm convinced I'm not feeling what I should be feeling if I was on conventional meds. Last year my Dr. prescribed Adderall XR. I tried it for a couple of days but determined it wasn't working.. plus insomnia was horrible. So then I decided to go the natural route. Anyway I have been thinking a lot lately about going back and trying meds again to see if there really is a difference. So this morning I took 30 mg of Adderall XR just to see what would happen. All day it has felt like I've been on Vivaren. I don't like this buzzed feeling but I also recognize it was really stupid to just take 30 mg.. my prescription is for 10mg (so I took 3 tabs). I went to the dr. and asked for a prescription for dexadrine. So I'll take it tomorrow or Thursday when this buzz feeling wears off. I'll be taking 10mgs of the long lasting stuff. I have no idea if its spalules or what.. (I've been reading the dexadrine section on different types). So basically I have a container of both meds to see what the effects are. Just a note.. I've had horrible dry mouth all day from the Adderall XR. I would like to hear people's experiences with both of these. I understand they are relatively the same thing. Thanks for reading this.

I have been taking Adderall XR for about a month now, and they only worked at first. They dont work at all right now, but my mom makes me take them because she thinks they might work soon, lol. But Im switching to dexedrine soon. Ive never heard anything bad about the drug, only positive.
