Anybody else out there get a song stuck in your head and you just cant seem to get rid of it. Now that I have been watching my 2 year old daughter during the day, it is the childrens songs from the TV and movies that she watches sometimes that get stuck in my brain. The more songs I am exposed to the worse it gets. ARRRGH!!! Capt Kylos

I RELATE TO THAT BIGTIME!!!!
I think I spent two years with the Blue's Clues tune in my brain. Lately, it's Little Bill. I LOVE LITTLE BILL!!!!!! On the adult front...the song currently stuck in my head is "Nobody" by John Ondrasik. And anything ever written and/or sung by THE DON.

I can totally relate. Doesn't help that I'm a classically trained musician. Meds help to turn down the volume on my "soundtrack of life", but nothing gets rid of it completely. At least I don't have kids yet, so I don't get stuck with the themes from Blue's Clues and Sesame Street running through my head every day.

For me it's the Backyardigans, my daughter's favorite. Nick Jr is a constant in my house, but then I catch myself singing the songs hours later folding towels at work and look around to see if anyone's noticed

I love the backyardigan's. I babysit a 1 year old that watches it, so I get that tune stuck in my head all the time.
![]() Occasionally I will get a fantastic song like 'We are the Champions' stuck in my head for days or one-two weeks until I can't stand the song anymore. :/ Oh well. Cyndi

I get some song that I listened to during the day sometime in my head later when I am not listening to music anymore. The cool part about the song in the head syndrom with me is that I can change them at will most of the time. Like a Jukebox.

Yep, every morning. I wake up to the radio and even if the volume isn't turned up very loud my brain records it. At the moment, the current hit by U2. The commercial I REALLY HATE is the "Gottagogottagogottago right now, gottagottagogottago......
But sometimes it's something fun the Oscar Meyer song ![]() |

But isn't it normal for the songs to get stuck in your head? I mean, don't non-ADD people get that too?

I am shure that everybody gets a song stuck in your head from time to time but maybe us ADD'ers are more sensitive to it. Just a thought. Capt Kylos

Yes, I too get songs or theme songs stuck in my head. Not children songs but everyday songs u hear on the radio.

Certain sounds bug me. To the degree that they used to make me angry.
Fork on plate repeatedly being tapped... A metal spoon in a metal glass stirring a thick drink. Believe me there are many others... But nothing quite sets me off like getting the Love Boat theme stuck in my head for a good couple of weeks. ![]() |

The one in my mind at 2:30 AM
'I don't want to be lonely any more' by Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty).
Why? Your guess is as good as mine. I heard it at 5PM last night.
