Red face excessive talking

hi my son which is 4 was taking reg adderall 15 mg twice a day but had terrible headaches while on it so hi dr. changed him to concerta 36 mg once a day he seems to be less agressive and can concentrate longer but i have noticed that he talks excessively (hell even talk to himself if you dont talk to him) he also gets caught up on what he tries to say he will repeat himself trying to get out what he wants to say and he also complains everyday about 10-20 times a day that something is in his eye just wondering if that can be a sign of tics? and wondering if anyone ekse has heard of the excessive talking while on concerta?

Not necessarily tics, it sounds more like OCD to me. Excessive talking--was he like that before he was on any of the stimulants? Maybe the adderall helped with the talking, so now that he is on concerta, the talking is back.

Re: excessive talking

I am on Concerta and do get the excessive talking. It last for about 2 hrs. Mainly while I am kind of on the "high" of the med. I think this is normal.
