Sleeeeeeepy!
I'm in the process of going through just about every ADD med out there to see which one works best for me.
I just tried Concerta 54 today, and I have to be honest, after a full 8 hours of sleep last night, I was ready to hit the sack 1 hour after taking it! My doctor had mentioned to me that taking too little Ritalin can have that effect. Considering Concerta delivers approx. 22% of the drug up front, that is 12mg and I found myself to be most effective at a 15mg dose of regular Ritalin. I'm wondering if these extended release meds are just not for me.. Anyone else have a much better experience with the standard meds than with extended release? |

I have used both personaly. I had a bit of a rough start with adderall xr but It was worked out quickly enough. I think theres just more "tweaking" that goes along with the use of a extended release medication. Also you dont get that quick pick-me-up that you do with the non-xr versions that might give some people trouble that are used to it.
