Let's talk CSI in the dead of night. My husband likes to tape it so he can watch it after work. Then he falls asleep in the BIG chair.
Cruising ADD forums and watching CSI, eating cherry pie and the beverage of choice.



ARE we a bunch of little blackbirds trapped in a pie?
Or are we all just trying to find order.....in order to make sense of the our world?



Let's talk about those birds. You and me and all of those ADD men and ADD women. And all the little birdies that sing tweet,tweet,tweet.
So many different little ADD tweets.
ADHD, ADD, Inattentive, Impulsive, hyperactive, sub types, silly types, ugly types, sexy, dopey, sleepy, smartypants, and doc.

Weird I watch CSI while Cruising ADD forums

No cherry pie or beverage, I'm not allowed to have anything that could spill near the computer.....

When I do the all nighters I always feel the need to go back and make sense of what I wrote....I'm enjoying a Sleepless in Seattle fest these days.

I am going to reply to my post, but first I want to respond to FTM to say

do NOT eat cherry pie at the computer ever, especially if you are singing about blackbirds and cruizing
A very good recipe for a sticky disaster and I have a big time sticky phobia...so get a long fork that will reach to the kitchen.



ok....it is all very simple but includes some very well thought out analogy and metaphor.

I was inspired by a few friends from the forums to write two threads, actuwellly. I always have brain chatter after talking to them. Especially while they're hanging out on the computer, playing with cats, and eating pie , watching CSI, and talking tattoos. Makes my head spin....but I love it!!!

I've never seen their sweet faces or heard them speak ...but I can hear their voices.
I know they are there and I know what they look like in my mind.

So I'm listening to some Kenny Rankin, to enhance the mood and make my husband's snoring more tolerable......and Kenny's version of black bird begins to play.

Who in the world can listen to that and not find truth?

Even Paul McCartney likes Kenny's rendition.



Is ADD such a special thing? Does it deserve the debate and tears and funny stories?

The anger, the confusion?

Well if not, heck..

Let's all party and have some pie. And another margarita for the road.....after we sober up and drive to the midwest to..... camp..... in the rain, that ruins my naturally girlie hair.

Lets talk it to death and go have some fun. or let's just talk it to death, by golly because we are here for a reason. In the short month I've been here I learned about ADD. I am armed to go out into the world practcaly an expert to spread the word.......onward blackbird fly!

So why are there folks hanging around after 2, 3 years. Tell me because it's important to know.

If it brings us together, the better the understanding? The excitement of safe communication behind a keyboard can be ADDictive ......it can bring about the laughter and comfort the tears, dampen the anger , and settle the fears.... TAH DAH!!!!

What makes you a blackbird and why are you in this pie?

WHO? ME?

Am I a piece of the pie?

There are many ways to slice it.
You can make very calculated cuts
or you can just jump in face first. You
can take more than your share. Or you
can be real stingey and cut little iddy
biddy pieces to tease and torture.

I am a jumper inner. Hyper-impulsive, fast talking
jumper.
Jumping in makes the party lively
YOu get the rush.
And you live life.


I have learned so much about myself here, I've met so many people and have expanded my tiny little bird brain.....
Some super friendly people, interesting people. Some reserved and some very eccentric. From everywhere and every place. And all of the characters and personalities...how many of these can be in one old worn out mac? And why are they black?
Why not red or blue? Or magenta. Or various shades of grey?

Ever heard of basic black or the little black dress? Lady in black, and black as the night? How do you measure color?

How beautiful is the emerald when displayed on black velvet? JEWELS on velvet. That's why the birds are black.

How do you get to be a bird in a pie? By discovering something new in your liife called ADD. By tippy- toeing around knee deep in cherries or jumping in and disrupting the whole flock.

I think this little bird has done all of the above.
Tippy-toed, jumped, and got the rush.
Pie on her face.

The whole flock...Maybe we want to be in this pie?
Maybe we want the rush?
Maybe we need to stay in this pie until it's time
