Hello! Newbie here

Hi all,

New here. I'm 29 years old and live in Canada. Since my teenage years iv had issues. My first major diagnosis being REM sleep disorder. I take clonazepam nightly for this.

My second, after straining to find answers and chasing doctors, I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and chronic depression. Years ago I had a mental melt down and went on sick leave from an old job, my doctor prescribed citalopram daily.

But recently things have been tearing it's ugly head. Racing thoughts, unfocused, confused, etc etc. I researched adult ADHD and brought it up to my doctor (in a somewhat sheer state of panic from my nerves being shot and the possibility of finding an answer)

She gave me a short quiz and almost fell over backwards while answering "oh my you definitely have it". So for 3 days now iv been on Vyvanse 30mg. I'm desperately hoping my symptoms get better the longer I take this. The first day was hell..my body was exploding with anxiety and energy. I'm still getting bouts of anxiety, depression, and I'm still easily distracted but my racing thoughts are toned down (not gone, but a wee bit better). I read so many good things about adderall taking away the symptoms ...does anyone have experience with vyvanse ?

Thank you! Grateful to be here and to talk amongst people who won't think im crazy
