Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

I bottle things up and suppress things for so long, without even realizing it. Until it all catches up with me and bursts out. I think maybe that's what's happening now. Anyways, I'll probably post about it in the relationship thread at some point.

Oh, another thing bothering me, while I'm at it. There is a place I really wanted to go camping this fall, but when I went to book it, they were ALL booked up through the fall. I didn't know this place was so popular. Bummer.

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

Someone asked me (in that pop up chat thing at work), if I could "see her for a couple of minutes"

And I'm imagining getting A Talk about something.
so I waited a few minutes to answer - and then I saw the whole message: she was leaving soon, needed some papers signed, could I please pick them up.

Really after all of this time, I am still imagining the Worst Case Scenario.

Im not a camper, but from hearing a report on NPR a few weeks ago, it seems like campgrounds do get booked up really early, and really fast.

Cheers,

Re: The what's bothering you RIGHT NOW thread Part IV

My squeaky dryer is now wailing like a banshee. Its probably a fire hazard so Im not running it. I put up a clothesline but its 40 degrees today. I am testing out how fast my jeans dry.

EDIT I dont know why the pic rotated.

My camera does that a lot. Randomly rotates the photo, which can look very interesting (upside down Tigger, anyone?)

Post it. It's very unlikely anyone will think it's pathetic bit evening if it really is you can give me company in the pathetic posts club.

Honestly you can't imagine how often is posted and then wished I could delete it because I thought it's too pathetic and trivial and silly. I still always got helpful replies and almostnoone has ever been mean. To me on here.

Your post might be a different type. Of pathetic (or as I suspect not at all) but if nothing else whenever you share something there will always be people who can relate and who would benefit from. Knowing they are not at all.

Also...now I'm curious..

Post away!!

Just the thought of camping is too much for me.

Sounds like a lot of work and a big mess.

there can be some lovely moments
but how I hated my hands covered in bug spray and marshmallows
I don't think I've been camping since I was 13.

and i get that change is just really hard. it is for me, too. i've become much more adaptable now that i have e. and somehow patient. but i just think i ought to be dead right now and i'm pretty distressed about not being and then i think...holy ****...you've got a small girl so you just need to be this person who doesn't have all of these problems and i just am not that problemless person.

and it ******* sucks.

you're doing your best and i truly believe it's going to end up being good enough. and i read somewhere recently about being a "good enough" mum instead of being this perfect one or this unfit one, which is kinda how our culture black/white presents motherhood. you're either cutting little snacks into stars in your spotless flawless kitchen with your perfect baby or you're negligent as ****.

and we're neither. we're good enough.

more water for the constipation? i feel for her on that...my meds can make me super constipated whenever i change them up and it's so much more brutal than it seems like it'd be to not take a successful crap.

how old is she now?

mine's 2.67. i just lost my **** over her preschool applications being late. or maybe not actually late, but for SF...late.

we can do this, fuzzy. you can, i can, e can, and fuzzling can. it's a marathon and you're in the stretch where the struggle is real and slapping you around...but you're still in the race. and so is she.

xx

Peri thanks. After my long post i fell asleep and had such a horrible nightmare I woke fuzzling with my screaming. I was terrified when I woke up. Then I read your post and it helped. Your words helped.

I so wish I was that person who didn't have any issues. Somehow I always thought if I had a child idbe different. I'd be efficient and hard working and capable...just because I had to. I'm not. I'm not that person without issues and somehow just wanting to be that person and somehow just needing to be that person isn't enough to turnme into that person. And that thought just just beats me up all the time.

I just hope that I'm good enough. I'd have lived for perfect. But right now if settle for good enough.

Fuzzling has been in such a foul mood lately that yesterday out of the blue I just started wondering if she's depressed and just the thought isheart breaking.im not saying she is. I don't think she is but what if she's depressed in the future. And then the what ifs just run away with me and i imagine the worst and then I suddenly apppear like someone who csht keep their baby alive. Or happy

Anyway I need to sort out the eating and weight issue. She's lost quite a bit of weight. She's still not eating. Maybe it's my food. I'm not a good cook. She doesn't lik readymade baby food but she doesn't like anything else either.

Anyway I'm rambling. I just wanted to say thanks.
