What is your ADHD like when you're incredibly sleep deprived?

i'm about 20x as forgetful, and my hyperactivity and excitability are like through the roof. It's also even harder to get me to shut up, which says a lot, cuz I already talk way too much to begin with.

Re: What is your ADHD like when you're incredibly sleep deprived?

In some ways it is better, in most ways it is worse, on accounting of the brain buzz that occurs from a high level of serotonin as caused by lack of needed sleep.

Cheers,
Ian

Re: What is your ADHD like when you're incredibly sleep deprived?

It's adrenaline. It happens to anyone who isn't sleeping enough. The body eats away at it's own stored up glucose deposits in order to keep going. It's impossible to fall asleep in this mode until the fuel burns out, then you can't even force yourself to stay awake.

Depending on my adrenaline level it can be really in check or off the hook.

I tend to get more talkative and excitable. Don't think my inattention gets much worse to be honest.
