Question Is This A Sign Of ADHD/ADD?

My name is Alex, I'm 17 and I'm new here!
Well, I've been suffering for almost 3 years from a very disabling and chronic sensivity to sound especially when focusing, relaxing and pretty much anything that needs concentration. The MAIN/core problem that Ive finally found over the years is that I'm afraid to get distracted when "thinking" or "feeling" something important whenever is a memory or an emotion such as love. I feel as if my brain is constantly scanning for sounds. I also suffer from misophonia (extremely hatred to certain sounds), and I've become extremely sensitive to them and get unbelievably stressed. Other than that is just some anxiety that all roots from this specific problem. I didn't know what to do because It isn't EXACTLY a phobia (sometimes it doesnt have the component of fear) and I have a family who doesn't believe in those stuff but they are willing to do anything it takes. It really ruined my life, personality and pretty much everything. Until now I got an idea that this MAY be ADHD/ADD. Tomorrow I'll go to a trusted psychologist, but he is my only chance and I'm afraid that he may misdiagnose me... So any suggestions would be very appreciated! I just want some opinion.
Ps: Another interesting note is that sometimes I also have hard time focusing on homework, I can't focus more than 30 minutes straight I daydream a lot (which I love it) and I also tend to think very fast for a small period of time and take a lot of breaks.
Thanks for reading!

Hope it went well with your psychologist!

Although I do not have misophonia, I am very sensitive to sounds. Got a hearing test done for chronic ear infections where they also noticed this. I am not sure what the cause is for me. I am certainly distracted by sounds moreso than others, but in a way that only makes sense if I simply hear more than most people. At the same time I (used to) have chronic migraines, so the sensitivity could also be blamed on that even though there has never been a correlation with actual headaches.

ADHD goes further than a sensitivity to external stimuli or distractability. It is merely a symptom of a bigger problem

I also have some of your problems but I have not been diagnosed yet. I think it's just one of my fears too that's why I lurk here. Hopefully, I am proven wrong. Gonna go to a psychologist soon!
