Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum, and *kind of* new to Adderall. I was diagnosed a few years ago, and was taking the Teva brand. It was fine, but after a few days I'd have palpitations and would have to stop. So I'd take it intermittently, mostly when I was REALLY scattered, but not daily. Fast forward a year...

Lately I've noticed I'm all over the place again, and couldn't find my few remaining Adderall pills, so I got a new script called in. I'm on a VERY low dose, I get the 10mg IR, but break them in half, once a day around 9am I take it. Anyhoo, one thing I've noticed with the Teva and now with this one - Sandoz - is I get anxiety. Does anyone else get that? I don't want to have to take something to counteract the anxiety. Will it fade if I take these regularly?

Thanks much in advance!

Re: Hi, newbie here!

Usually you need to wait a couple weeks to see if the side-effects even out. Unfortunately the search for the right meds and dosage can be time-consuming.

Hey welcome. A lot of times people that do sort of well on adderall minus the anxiety do great on dexedrine. This is because Adderall contains levoamphetamine which is responsible for the excess PNS and sometimes CNS stimulation. The levo can really bother some people. Dexedrine is just amphetamine and it can be tolerated a lot easier.
