Ehlers-Danlos vs ADHD-PI + SCT ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I suspect I have ADHD-PI and SCT, going to a private ADHD specialist on Tuesday but it's 500 so I don't want to waste my money if I'm not going to walk out with a diagnosis. I've tried getting stimulants prescribed from my GP for my EDS symptoms (and I see people online with EDS getting ADHD meds - but no luck, most of them don't even know what EDS is)

I was diagnosed with EDS Type 3 hypermobile in 2007. My symptoms resemble classical EDS but that's a lot harder to diagnose so I was happy with what I got. The physical symptoms from my EDS are extremely mild. I had problems with my knee dislocating but haven't had any since surgery. I used to have a lot of joint pain and GI issues but going vegan solved them almost over night. My ADHD symptoms are pretty severe (takes me a couple of days to watch a movie in 10-15min bursts, can't focus on anything, zone-out in group-conversations, etc)

I recently realised I fit ADHD-PI + SCT pretty well, except for generally being shy and never really being hyperactive in my life (getting out of my chair when not required or talking over people is something I would never do in a million years). I'm also not 'that' impulsive but I do have examples I can draw on (getting into debt, getting into fights, if it comes to a fight or flight situation - I will always be the first to swing a punch). My inattentive ADHD symptoms are pretty severe (takes me a couple of days to watch a movie in 10-15min bursts, can't focus on anything, zone-out in group-conversations, etc)

I'm just generally looking for what the difference is between EDS and ADHD? The more I research the more I realise EDS can mimic ADHD symptoms - but EDS is also common in people with ADHD. Have these people been misdiagnosed or is it comorbid? I have the ability to hyperfocus which isn't an EDS thing so that's one of the few things making me think it is ADHD.
