Starting Strattera

Hi,

I am ADHD-PI (possibly SCT) currently on Sertraline (200mg) and Abilify (5mg). I am starting on Strattera next week. Building it up slowly, week 1: 25mg, week 2: 40 mg week 3: evaluation with doctor. Final evaluation after 2 months, because the onset of action is said to be at least one month and the effects i am aiming for are long-term.

I read the first 4 weeks can be rough; what are your experiences with Strattera and what situation were you in at the time? (diagnosis, co-morbidity, medication...)

Just so I get a feel for what I can expect.

To find that out I made this thread

It can be different for everyone, but I started this week so I guess I'll find out. Now on day 2 with 25mg, nothing so far that I cant ascribe to change in diet, coffee, the weather etc.

Re: Starting Strattera

Quick update, just finished 2 weeks titration, tomorrow ill start on 80mg.

So far so good, no big changes. Slight headache under my forehead. I notice a couple weeks ago I was lying on the couch more, but its subtle, not sure its the strattera.

Either way im looking at long term effects, so im giving it some time.
