~* Vacations *~
Ok...It been more than 9 years....yes, NINE YEARS
 since I let myself take a vacation. When I'm at work, I just have never felt that it was the right time to take time off. Its like...I almost feel GUILTY about taking vacation time. If I was going to take a vacation somewhere...any suggestions? Favorite vacation spots that that I went to before I got married were: * Vail, CO * Florida * Juan Les Pins (when I was a wee little one) * California

Big ,
One of my favorite palces in New Braunfels , near SanAntonio , Like to get in a tube and ride down river , very relaxing , Havent took kids yet but thinking this summer will be a blast , they can finally swim good and i think they would love it . Have some fun water slides to for family . If you go have a blast , But even you dont go anywhere at all , just have fun .

We usually go to visit family. Sometimes we take a side trip and go to places like museums or parks. We took the girls to see Mammoth Cave in Kentucky one year... note to everyone.. never go when it's 95 degress out.
They have also been up to Fort Michelamacinac (sp?) and several other places in Michigan. Sometimes we just take day trips to places like Warren Dunes or to Comerica Park to see Tigers play. Hubby and girls went for a ride through the locks when they went to Minnesota in 97. Just anything to spend time with the girls.

you know, i may be biased,
but southwestern ontario, in canada is nice, *sigh* i miss home, seriously though, if you want "geography/geology" you know, into parks and camping, there are some very cool places in canada, not to mention your dollar would go further! but, as i said, i'm biased

Wow big, I got over that feelin long ago!!! Once use it or lose it policies became the vogue, I vowed that I would no way lose it.
So ... DisneyWorld Backpacking anywhere on the Appalachian Trail Camping (I have been to Alogonquin in Ontario a few times, and yes, it is wonderful) and this year we are going on a camping excursion in New Brunswick , Canada after being invited by Cyndy and her family. I have always wanted to see the Bay of Fundy and it's 40 foot tidal swing and now I am going to!! Seriously Big, listen to Jimmy Buffett and, 'Take a Holiday'.

Any vacations planned for the winter months? Well, for those of us up North or in cold states. Or, well, in warm states and want to go skiing?

RADDmom you better be "packing" when you meet the inlaws if mafia is in the picture. I have a nice piece for you, serial number is, of course, filed off!
I am going nowhere for Christmas. But I will be going to Texas in March to spead the rest of my mom's ashes...that is if the bluebonnets are out this year!

Pick some for me! I love bluebonnets! I am a Texan Anyhow-have certificate. Sorry about your mom. But to be with the bluebonnets, how wonderful. My parents are native texans.
Uncle Louie is pretty old and not an accountant at the carwash anymore. We wonder if there will be a pillowcase at the Italian Catholic wedding reception. Those are the best! I will be packing, my son, former Marine, expert with m-16!
