Unhappy Need some help here!!!!

I have been on WB SR 150 mg for 9 days I have dizziness about 3-4 hours after taking this and trouble breathing. The doctor gave me Xanax to reduce the anxiety but i'm not so sure that is the problem. I am worried that it may be an allergic reaction. I don't want to stop them cuz they work for me very well other than the 2 problems listed above. The xanax slows me down enough but the breathing thing doesn't seem to subside to the point of going away. So I called the DR got a script today for quick release 75 mg 2x a day. I want to cut them in half and see how that works.

I need some input to see if I should stop all together of keep trying. I didn't take anything today and still have mild breathing issues and chest compression.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Will the quick release react different than the SR?

Thanks a whole lot

Robin

itlang12, I was under the impression that the usual dose is 150mg of Wellbutrin SR twice a day, not once a day. Did you doctor have a reason for only taking the single dose?

I was supposed to up it to 2x's a day. But had this breathing problem and didn't want to up it till the side effects went away. When I went to see the DR about these problems she told me to stop for a week and if the breathing issue stopped than it was the WB. The thing is I didn't want to stop taking it cuz it is making a huge difference in my additude and outlook and my daughter said that I am being alot nicer.

To ya think I should quite and try something else?

I was on Effexor for awhile way back. I can't remember why I stopped. Paxil, prozac both made me sick. Now WB making me dizzy and not able to breath well. What's next. I am already 20 lbs over weight don't want to take anything that will depress me more cuz I gained weight from the med.

I was thinking of trying cymbalta? Not sure what to do!! I haven't taken a pill today. I need to make up my mind!!!!!!

Stressed out!!!

Robin, I think you should do what your doctor recommends. Side effects occur with too little or too much of a medication. If the breathing problems still occur when you stop taking Wellbutrin, you will know it's not that med..

IF YOU STOP BREATHING PERMANENTLY, BEING NICE WON'T MATTER VERY MUCH !!

LOL not that that statement is funny but I didn't think about if I stopped breathing altogether!!! You are right I didn't take the meds yesterday so today will be day 2. I didn't like the anxiety I got in the middle of giving a massage either.

Thanks for all who replied.
