how long to get ritalin comepletely out of my system?

I weigh 215lbs 50 years old, taking ritalin for 8 years, down to 80 to 100 mg per day now. 3 days ago I stopped taking it. I am in my 3rd day now and I just want ot know how long it is before this is completely out of my system? YES I noticed it about 30 minutes after waking up the first day I decided to stop taking it.

Also, has anyone with high blood pressure noticed a drop if they stopped taking ritalin?

Well I think it's like any amphetimine (isn't that what ritalin is?) it should only take a couple of days, maybe 3-4 to get out of your system. But I'm looking at that from a drug testing standpoint. I know that if they pull me for a random urinalysis and I pop for ritalin they will look in my medical records and see that I was on it. I've been off it for a week, but I think they take that into consideration.
As for blood pressure, mine was already high, there fore I had to switch from 18mg concerta (not enough to help) to wellbutrin (still waiting to see if it helps). Concerta did raise my BP, so it's only logical that stopping the med would lower it. But what do I know. I'm no doctor :P
