Yes, I have the same thought. I think I'm mild in comparison to people here, but ADDers are supposed to be not very good judges of self.

Yep, I've looked at how it determines the 'ADHD-factor', and it does take H into account. So, purely inattentive will have lower scores. It's all very subjective though, as we're all rating ourselves, which, scientifically, is bound to be inaccurate.

It is all quite subjective, I agree mijahe. Another factor is the tendency to compare one to the surrounding environment. I'm sure those who work and live with others like themselves score differently than those who work with those who follow instructions in a similar manner to computers reading punch cards or scanning documents. If one stands out in this manner, I could guess that their score would be naturally higher.

Score 72 -- another who needs to immediately call a doctor! Interesting their categories -- Borderline, Mild, Moderate, and Adult. Does that mean my ADD grew up?

Alternative View: Well, if they replaced "immediately" with "sometime in the future", it wouldn't be very motivating to those who have the disorder. No, I don't think anyone really needs to call 911 or another emergency number. Perhaps it's simply a motivational tactic.

LMAO -

"some time in the futrure" = later ---> ADD translation of "later" = never.

Alternative View makes sense to me.

You scored a total of 91

It is highly likely that you are presently suffering from adult attention deficit disorder, according to your responses on this self-report questionnaire. You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional immediately

Overall, your responses indicate very severe behaviors that may be consistent with ADHD with possible significant impairment in your home, work, and social life areas.

You reported that you have been diagnosed with ADHD. Overall, your responses suggest very severe ADHD type symptoms. The fact that since beginning treatment your symptoms have not noticeably improved may indicate the need for you and your physician to re-assess your course of treatment. It is very important that you do not stop or make any changes to your treatment without discussing it with your doctor.

If you are concerned about your behaviors, talk to your doctor. Print this page to take with you to your appointment. It will help you and your doctor address your concerns.
No suprise that I scored this highly, I just wish getting medication to help wouldn't take so long in australia.

I suspect that in rating ourselves, we are actually underestimating our symptoms. I know when I have taken one of these online quizzes and then my husband took it for me answering based on his observations of me, he gives me worse scores than I give myself.

I say: No, you should have answered that "sometimes" because I don't always do (fill in blank).
To which he says: Oh yes you do!

On the WebMD test they said:

Overall, your responses indicate very severe behaviors that may be consistent with ADHD with possible significant impairment in your home, work, and social life areas.
You reported that you have been diagnosed with ADHD and are currently being treated with counseling or psychotherapy, complimentary or alternative therapy (e.g., vitamins, herbs, supplements, and etc.). Overall, your responses suggest very severe ADHD type symptoms. The fact that since beginning treatment your symptoms have not noticeably improved may indicate the need for you and your physician to re-assess your course of treatment.

Hmmmmm -- now if they'd just explain how to take my meds without triggering tics.

Actually, this made me think. I haven't really taken an assessment since I stoppped my medication -- it's easy to miss how much impact ADD has off meds -- too busy paddling to stay afloat to notice stuff like that. Don't know the solution though....
