Abdominal Cramps -- how quickly did they go away

I've been having progressively worse abdominal cramps over the past three days. It's possible I've been exposed to a stomach bug as I ate somewhere dodgy the on the weekend. But also just restarted dexedrine after trying ritalin for a little while. I didn't ramp up but just went back to my original dose. I did not at all have this problem the first time.

For those who have had abdominal cramping -- does it subside after days/weeks and if so how long did it take. I am thinking it may be the dexedrine because it feels more like my abdomen than my stomach. Am visiting my physician (not shrink) tomorrow so will probably get tested for stomach bugs to rule that out.

I took my last dexedrine dose at 6 pm, it is now 2:30 am ... I would think that if that was the cause they would have stopped by now, no?

I had the "cramps and diarreah" side effect from a particular brand of dexedrine it may be an issue of that... did you get the Barr brand perhaps???

Thanks; Smith Kline French ... same brand as last time. I am beginning to doubt that it is dexedrine as I took my last dose over 20 hours ago and cramps are back with a vengeance ... maybe the symptoms persist ... ???

Have a call in to my specialist and hoping he gets back or I get more info from the board before I see my physician this evening as my physician isn't likely to know whether or not the dexedrine side effects can last that long.

Heard from specialist; he said that if was dexedrine then would have been gone by now ... so now it's in my physician's court.

Looks like an Adeno virus (spelling) that has possessed my body and is moving downwards from my head -- first the sinuses, then the eyes, now the chest and stomach. Oh what joy!
