Women with ADD having Calendar event or To-do list?
I have numerous personal planners, including Yahoo! Calendar and a Filofax. I don't use them as much as I'd like to because I'm often stumped about how to assign things. For instance, in January, there are several things I need to do including making a particular phone call, sending out an e-mail to a mailing list, revising a web page, etc. I have to assign due dates to these things, or they will never get done. So do I assign these things to the calendar just like I would birthday reminders and my next dentist appointment, or should I be using the "To Do" list function and placing them there?
I realize this may seem like a silly question, but this is why the personal planner has always been such a mystifying concept to me. I'm hoping to get input from you ladies as to how you schedule your obligations in a way that seems logical.

I use Microsoft Outlook and Sync it with Yahoo Calendar. I had the same question when I 1st started using outlook.
I think you have to do what works best for you. For most things I do put them in the regular calendar. I find that that the visual in the calendar helps me more than just putting them down as tasks(or on the to do list). |
