Monday Jetlag – Wanting to kill myself - I HATE MONDAYS– ADD related????

All,
I am not suicidal but every Monday is a true disaster!!! I HATE MONDAYS! I hate them so much I want to kill myself only the thought of being better next day is keeping me going. It is every Monday no matter what I do. I have it since I was 18 or 19, I don’t remember having it before. For years I thought it was an inner clock thing but now I think it is somehow related to ADD…. I dont take any meds atm.


Any ideas?????

I've read that you can use melatonin as needed to help with jetlag...

thanks, but that i have tried - did not work for me. the thing is that i actually sleep pretty normal but i am ****ed up anyway on Mondays....it is a total mystery for me that
freaks me out

maybe a low dose ambien just on sunday nights could help?

I rather try to find the root of it instead of medicating it.

Up until the insurance stopped covering it, I was taking lunesta 3mg every night. I would have problems getting to sleep at night. I would be up till 2 to 3 in the morning but now it seems to be that I wake up during the night as a result of not having sleep aids...

lunesta... I remember you talked about that somwhere else. I have to check that out. Of course I go out on weekends (staying up later) - that just makes it worse....

I think it is some combination of the inner clock and "dunno" with a mild case of "i have no idea"... :-)

If you trully want to know the cause, they have sleep centre's where you could get "studied" but I don't know how that process works...

I know what you mean! I always wanted to go there but I did not have the time or some other excuse. Now my condition is much worse and I have to go but I cannot coz I am in the wrong coutry for that. I will do that when I am back home.
