minimal brain disfunction?

I am so tired of hearing from professionals calling ADD a minimal Brain Disfunction or type retardation.

I have such a hard time believing in myself as it is let alone having the whole world thinking I am retarded or disfunctional.

Please! When will these so called professionals begin to except that we are just differant in the way we approach things?

Interesting. Minimal Brain Dysfunction was the old name for ADHD and no longer used. Type retardation? Mental retardation is an IQ classification and quite separate from a diagnosis of another disorder. What have you been reading?
