anyone else do this?
The other night, my wife asked me to do the dishes. While I was doing them, along came one of my cats and I thought, "hey, while she's here..." I grabbed her and the kitty shampoo and proceeded to wash the cat and that was the end of me doing dishes.
My wife says it's like "I ask you to do A B and C but you'll do A, a little bit of B and none of C but go to X." weird. |

well, yeah, but the cat's clean.
I know. You can eat off the cat. I do that too - going off task, not eating off the cat. I try to handle that by setting up a number of worthy tasks, and whatever I get distracted to, at least it's worthwhile. When I can do that, it makes me feel good about the day. |
